Contents
The two-year programme comprises four semesters, during which 15 thematic modules and the Master’s thesis must be completed.

The programme focuses on three fields:

Crop Physiology and Nutrition
The focus of this major is on plant nutrition, plant symbioses, crop quality improvement, as well as on crop-environment interactions, in order to develop technological approaches and management practices with the objective of producing high yields and high quality fruit and grain crops.

Plant Breeding and Seed Science

Students are trained in the entire repertoire of classical and modern technologies in plant breeding, breeding methodological thinking, biometry in plant breeding, as well as in seed science.

Crop Protection

Starting with descriptive and molecular biology, as well as modern strategies of crop protection, students may subsequently specialize in phytopathology, entomology or weed science.
